Dan John is an industry legend who has a very practical approach to fitness after years of research and experience in the industry. We talk about how fitness needs to change as we age, and it needs to take women’s health through menopause seriously. EPISODE 25: KELLY COFFEY – HOW TO STOP SELF SABOTAGING YOUR HEALTH

Kelly Coffey (C-O-F-F-E-Y) is a fucking badass. She’s the force behind Strong Coffey Personal Training in New England, and the popular blog strongcoffey.com. In 1997, at over 300 pounds, Coffey was a study in how not to treat a human body. She was depressed, inactive, and uncomfortable. She had weight loss surgery only to gain much of the weight back – AGAIN. Sad, disconnected, and scared to even hope, she finally saw what the problem was – not her body or her weight, but her obsessive drive to sabotage every health- and care-based commitment she tried to make. She pieced together a practical, real-world solution to self-sabotage and the loss/gain cycle, and has maintained a healthy, comfortable weight for well over a decade. Coffey coaches women all over the world on how to do the same in her acclaimed online course, the Pleasure Principles.




EPISODE 24: KIM VOPNI – THE VAGINA COACH

Kim Vopni, The Vagina Coach, is an expert who talks all about the vagina, apparently one of the worlds most hated words. In this episode we discuss how most women don’t realize, that in menopause pelvic floor vitality is effected. The sneeze pee, the kegel mojo (are you doing it correctly), sexual satisfaction, dry vagina and sandpaper sex. There is no place we don’t go!




EPISODE 23: ELSBETH VAINO – STRENGTH TRAINING FOR WOMEN

Electronic warfare engineer turned personal trainer, Elsbeth is one of my favourite fitness presenters and I am very honoured to have her on the show. Elsbeth regularly trains newbies to her gym that are over 40 and she gets to see this generation thrive and find the joy in strength training, especially women over 50 who are usually apprehensive to start, but then she loves to all the things they see the can do! It’s life-changing. (oh and we discuss scotch-eggs!)

Meghan Callaway is a strength coach in Vancouver, Canada with over 14 years of experience coaching a wide array of clients from elite athletes, to post-physical therapy rehabilitative strength training, as well as everyday people who want to feel, perform, and function at a higher level. Meghan is the creator of the recently released Ultimate Pull-Up Program, and believes that working out should be fun, mentally and physically rewarding, and empowering.
